id see about the tubes.PRONTO! my son had ear infections all his life. long story short,,,,he had an ear infection, took the medicine to completion, thought it was gone. he bumped his head and a hidden infection found its way to the back of his brain. he had to have 2 brain surgeries and a hole drilled in the base of his brain. this was all when he was 17...go to a specialist PLEASE and get those tubes.
go back to the doctors. are you taking the medication
until it empty? sometimes if you stop taking the medication
because you feel better, the infection isn't totally gone.
you need tubes in your ears!
You need to go see an ENT doc. He may need to insert tubes surgically to get the fluid out. Call tomorrow and get an emergency appointment with an ENT doc. If they won't see you real soon then call your doc and see if he can get you seen sooner. If you don't get it fixed you will eventually wind up with permanent hearing loss. This is what happened to me years and years ago following the measles. Fluid in the ears that wouldn't respond to drugs, tubes in the ears twice but even that didn't work so I have been hearing impaired for years.
See an ear specialist. You may need to have tubes inserted in your ears to help them drain. Also, see an alergy specialist. You may have an alergy to dairy products which causes your ear infections, and prevents them from draining.
One of my daughters had the same problem, and I found out that she had an allergic reaction to milk. She was switched to a soy based formula, and the ear infections gradually went away.
She is serving in the US Army now, and does not have any residual affects from the infections, so catching it early before any permanent damage can be done is important. Get this checked out right away.
