Can you inject Suboxone?
Question:
Answers:
No!
Do not inject ("shoot-up") Suboxone. Shooting-up is dangerous and may cause bad withdrawal symptoms.
Suboxone tablets should be placed under the tongue and allowed to dissolve. This will take 2 to 10 minutes. If more than one tablet is prescribed per dose, your doctor may tell you to put all of the tablets under your tongue at the same time, or put 2 tablets under your tongue and allow them to dissolve completely, then put the next tablet or tablets under the tongue right away.
Do not chew or swallow the tablets. The medicine will not work this way and you may get withdrawal symptoms. Do not change the dose of Suboxone or take it more often than prescribed without first talking to your doctor.
OMG YOU ARE JOKING RIGHT?! I am not even going to answer that.
Suboxone is Buprenophine with Naloxone in it. Naloxone is the same medication that is in "Narcan" which is what they give opiate or heroine OD's at the hospital. The way Suboxone works is, if you take it properly, by disolving it under your tongue, you get the benefit of the Buprenorphine and the Naloxone does not cross the blood-brain threshold, so the medication prevents withdrawals and all is well. HOWEVER, if you attempt to abuse it, especially by shooting it up, the Naloxone crosses the blood-brain threshold, rendering the Buprenorphine completely useless and throwing the user into immediate and severe withdrawals. SO that answer is, you CAN inject it, but you don't want to.
Yes you can! But the only thing u gotta put up with is around 10-15 mins of minor withdrawls (light sweats and fluctuating body temperature) but after that u slowly peak to a high the same as subutex. I have personally done it a few times and technically yes you can inject it but u will suffer for a bit b4 u feel the high.
