Are their joints in your ribs?

Question:
I never heard of joints in ribs but some at my work said that each rib has two joints is this true?

Answers:
each rib articulates with the vertebral column at two different points: the demi-facet for the head of the rib and the facet for the articular part of the tubercle of the rib

maybe this is what your friend was referring to
what the ****? no!
NO ~ no joints in your ribs
They are connected to your spine and your breast bone
except for the 2 floating ribs (only connected to the spine)
No, the front of your ribs are cartilage. You have 2 sets of "floating ribs", which are not attached to the sternum (breastbone). No such thing as joints in ribs.
Yep there are joints where the connect at the sternum.
Maybe your co-worker is a sarcastic person, or just wanted to see if you were so misinformed as to check your own ribcage. No. There are no joints in you ribs. Or on any skeletal system of any animal.
