Medical question, what makes your arns and legs go num, as if they are asleep as it were?
Question:
I worked them and in 10 minutes they were back to normal, but what causes that to happen?
Answers:
There could be several reasons for this with your arms it could be poor circulation or if you've ever done a lot of typing or clerical work it could stem from nerve damage in your hands due to corpal tunal syndrome. I had surgery on both my hands for it.. you also may be in the beginning stages of RLS. meaning Restless Leg Syndrome
lack of bloodflow
lack of circulation to your limbs. try to sleep in a different position.
lack of blood pumping when body asleep nothing to keep heart rate up and blood flows more slowly so less oxygen delivered to mucles and depending on how you sleep can cause less blood flow causing muscles to have lack in oxygen and give feeling of numbness and working them around generates a more smooth blood flow which returns the feelings to the limbs
I've seen many good answers but also a pinched nerve or possible spinal injury, it would be wise to visit a doctor.
i experienced that too when i consumed fatty foods,so i took soya lecithin oil capsule to fight the bad cholesterol's, and do some strectching exercises again regularly.
could be a pinched nerve, circulation problem, or many other things because of the cause.
thankfully usually a good chiropractor and massage therapist can help :)
