Question:
I went to a wedding on July 14th, and that night, I noticed a blister on the top of my second toe on the right foot. It popped on its own a week ago while in the shower, then reappeared, and now has a small red dot in the center of the "bubble" and also two smaller red marks outside of it. Is it infected, and if so, what should I do? I've never had a blister before and not sure how long on average they should take to heal.
What should I do to help it? And I don't like going to the doctor or taking medications if there's something I can do that's very helpful and simple.
Thanks in advance!
Answers:
2 weeks is too long for a blister to heal. I would have it looked at if I were you.
it shouldnt take so long. just keep a bandade on it. and change it often. if it get's moist from sweat or water change it. it's probably not healing cus it's exposed and continuously rubbing on your sock's or shoe's or such. try to wear sandal's if you can.
That depends on what kind of shoes you wear. wear looser shoes and cotton white secks.
