Answers:
A mosquito bite usually causes only a minor inflammation in the area of the bite. If the area seems to be getting larger or changing color, it may be appropriate to seek a professional. If it remains small, a small dab of hydro-cortisone cream (available over the counter) may lessen the redness, but be careful not to put it in your mouth or eyes and follow directions and warnings on the label.
With my experience with mosquito bites, using 'remedies' only make them worse because it involves rubbing the stuff on it. The best thing to do would be to resist itching it or touching it at all. After about one day it starts to clear up, but it may take another day and a half for it to become much less noticable.
Prolly this is toxic even but it works...put some ammonia (like cleaning ammonia from the kitchen) on a cotton ball and hold it on the bite for a minute. Stops the itching if that's what is bothering you. This is a home remedy, not a medical one.
when ever this happened you should cut an onion and put it on then spot for several minutes.hope helps...
