Ankle help?!?!?
Question:
Answers:
I don't know about your ankle & breaks, but I honestly wouldn't doubt if you might have broken your little toe. From the description of the black & blue, it wouldn't surprise me at all. You need to put ice on it as soon as you can. Put the ice on for 15 min. & off for 15 min. This should help w/the swelling & also help w/the pain. I'd do this for a couple hrs. I KNOW they can't do anything for a broken toe, but what they do is take a bandage & bind it to the toe next to it. This w/help keep it straight & also keep you from bumping it again on something else. I honestly would suggest you contact a Dr., because you could have broken just one of those small bones in your foot. I just don't like the sound of the black & blue & it appearing immediately. I broke a small bone in my hand once & it swelled up badly & turned black & blue immediately. I ended up in a cast for that. But do get the ice on it as soon as you can, & do contact a Dr. & they no doubt w/order an xray for you. Good luck, hope you feel better, but do take care of it ASAP!
Elevate it and stay off of it. Put ice on it. If you feel like it may be broken, see a doctor. Not much you can do for a toe though. Even if the toe was broken they can't cast it.
