Dribbles from his mouth when asleep!?

Question:
My husband has started to dribble in his sleep, from his mouth I may add!! not sure why this has started it now wakes him up.
Any ideas?

Answers:
My ex used to do this and it was a discovered he had a slight deformity in his jaw line- this was also then passed onto one of my sons who does exactly the same. It used to wake me up if he snuggled and slept near me because more often than not he would dribble in my ear- yuk. No cure, just make sure you put extra covers on your pillows!
I do that lol
Guess what i do that and there is nothing wrong with me. Also, taking certain meds. can cause that too.
when someone starts dribbling at night it may mean that he has problem with a tooth or something cause i have a broken tooth ever since i dribble at night too . ask him and see.
i do it as soon as i lay down even if im awake in bed. I dont know what causes it but i think its just one of those things that cant be helped
He is not awake to suck it back into his mouth
I thought everyone did this?
I do it too but don't think anything of it. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
Not very often but I do- I tend to do it when I have had a really good sleep!! Im not a doctor but I really dont think its anything to worry about but maybe if your husband is worried he could go and see his GP just to put his mind @ rest!
he is just producing to much saliva its normal and nothing to worry about
