What are the symptoms of a spider bite? If you've been bitten can your throat and tongue be effected?

Question:
I have an open(hole) sore on the inside of my lower leg, looks like it could be a spider bite, a friend said. But my tongue feels like I've scorched it and it seems hard to swallow? could this be connected?

Answers:
YES! Get to a doctor. If the spider was poisonous, it could be serious and could affect your mouth, tongue, and throat.
Yes it can. It sounds like you may be allergic to the spider bite. When a person is allergic to something their throat and tongue will swell and it will be hard to swallow. I get like that when I get stung by Hornets and Yellow Jackets. It is a Allergic reaction you are having. Take a benedryl and it will start to get better. Benedryl is for Allergies.
Girl sounds like a brown roucluse spider if anything go to the doctor dont play around and wait it probley has a venom and you need to really go find out.
