Must see Question! Very interresting?
Question:
Im In the army, and my friend got sent home from iraq with burns 87 percent of her body... She is in pain ALL THE TIME! they have her on pain meds, and said she will prob. need them for the rest of her life due to spasems in musles and after shock... She has crused ribs and a feeder threw her throat. She is not on life support tho, She can catch her breathe once in a while. Which leads me to the Question
Do you beleive that we should be able to be put down like animals are able to if the situation permits? If your going to be laying on your death bed for 6 months lets say, and no signs of ability to recover. Do you think that we should be able to be put to peace? Thanks
Answers:
We are nicer and more humane to animals than to humans. I completely believe in being able to euthanize people. Maybe some people would be shocked by that statement, but I work for a medical research company and I test on an euthanize animals for a living basically. And let me tell you, the SECOND an animal is in pain or distress, we put them out of their misery. It is the only humane thing to do. No animal or human should have to suffer from a terminal disease. Good question.
I do believe that euthanasia should be legal, yes. I'm sorry about your friend, that's horrible.
I can't tell if this is a troll or not...
There are countless cases of people making amazing recoveries after doctors said they wouldn't. Why are you in such a hurry to give up on your friend? Give her time to heal.
Yes, she is in pain but, it will get better. She needs your support in her recovery. I know it's a shock to see what she's going through but, if you are a true friend you will give her your strength.
I will say a prayer for you and your friend. My daughter spent a year in Iraq and was there when the war started. We were fortunate and she came home in one piece. I pray that all our service people do as well. Take care.
Yes I think that that is a very good idea i think that they should be put out of misery because i mean who would want to go through all that pain. Something I think that people should consider is that you should put in your will if you are ever life support wheather they should pull the plug or not.
yes i think you should be allowed to! im sorry about your friend thats horrible...
i don't know i think it should be up to the person... if they can think... i mean ur friend seems to be in a lot of pain... i think that in certain cases they should but i'm not 100% sure... i don't think that they should hold back the option if the family/ friends/ person wants to do it i mean they say america's a free country but there are so many laws prohibiting people to do things they want to do... so i'm kinda leaning more towards yes they should let them do that but only if the person/ family/ friends want them to THANKS FOR WHAT U ARE DOING!! :) it takes a lot of courage :) stay strong
Yes i think we should. My moms friend was "put down" because he had this rare disease so they finally put him out of his misery which i think he was better off and the family felt better also to know he was in a better place.
That is a very tough question, and very personal...no one wants to see anyone suffer, even God did not want to see His only begotten Son suffer and die the way he did, but I think we should realize that everything, and I mean EVERYTHING happens for a reason...our sight is short in comparison to God's perspective...I am so sorry about your friend...I would pray for God to take her quickly...I think euthanasia, if legal, would become a dangerous practice to "get rid" of people who serve no useful purpose, so we have to be very careful about that...but in cases such as this, I believe if the person who is suffering wanted to die peacefully, I see no reason why her wish should not be granted...
If your friend is terminal the only state that allows legally assisted suicide is Oregon. And you have to be of sound mind and be able to swallow the pills given by yourself. This is ONLY for people diagnosed as terminal by a medical doctor.
I do think that people should be allowed their own choice.
Yes I do.if that is what one of our troops wants then thats what they will get!! I think that after everything that they have done.they should get what ever they want when they want it!
Please e'mail me if you EVER need any SUPPORT!!
Thank you so very much for what you are doing! Stay strong!
