Hornate Sting, Whole foot swollen?
Question:
Answers:
see a doctor
If she is allergic to them, she would need to go to the hospital and possibly get a shot. If she isn't then try and ice it up or soak it in cold water for a little bit and then soak it in warm/hot water for the swelling and pain. Also take some pain reliever.
Hornets are very aggressive. Unless she knows she is allergic to them she can take medication for it and if not she can soak her foot in some ice water and if you have epsom salt use that as well. I got stung by 789 hornets.
I sounds like your mother might be allergic to the hornet. Have your mother ice it and also take Benedrly for the pain and the swelling. I am allergic to Hornets really bad and my breathing is affected by it. I take Benedryl for it and I also ice it. Have your mother talk to the doctor on the phone and have her tell him what is going on with the sting so she can be sure that she is not allergic to the hornet sting to be on the safe side. I hope this will help you.
