My back and front thigh, my calf, on my left leg always feels tight lately?

Question:
What could be the problem? I’m not saying it locks up on me, but it feels like I have to stretch it a lot lately. Also when I’m sitting down I’ve noticed I’ve gotten a pinch like feeling in a certain area of my back thigh, and it goes a way if I stretch it out and sit instead of bending it in the sitting position. What could this be? Is it of concern? I was in an accident more then a year ago and got hit pretty bad on that leg on my calf. My Mom was worried about a blood clot, but it seemed fine. Up 6 months ago, however, I started getting this feeling in my leg. I don’t even have to be sitting down that long.

Answers:
First I would like to say you should get this checked out by your doctor. Yes it could be a blood clot that has become enlarged. It may also be something else. I'm just and EMT so I really cant say.

Having said that it also could be a lack of potassium in your body. Your legs are the first to cramp up is this happens.

Stay away from soda and coffee try to drink more water.

Good luck and I hope this helps.
