Are doctors suppose to turn you away once they find out you have no health insurance?

Question:
What if there was something wrong with you and they tell you your fine and days later you find out you have a chronic illness!?

Answers:
the legalities depend on where you go to get treated.
"Sicko" by michael moore. See it.
That's why so many people go to the ER. A regular doctor can refuse to take on new patients, and I have found that when I was a cash patient, I wasn't treated very well. As in, I felt they wanted to get rid of me, no $$ from insurance.
Yes unless it is a county hospital .
Well Doctors have the right to make money as does any other business. If you went to the market do you think they would let you take home the groceries if you didn't have the money to buy it? Same concept with Doctor's they have the right to charge for services rendered.
