both medicines have opioid substances. when you put together some time the pain is worse (paradoxical effect). Ask your doctor abouit it
NO! and you should ask your doc, anyway.
Fentanyl is a strong narcotic, and Vicodin is another narcotic. Taking the two together *could* OD you. Or not, depending on the dosages.
Bottom line - I don't know. Ask doc.
You should ask your doctor, however it sounds as if the same doctor called and said he would give you another medication to replace the one you were taking. A lower dosage so that you wouldn't become addicted.
