How do you mess up your eyesight?

Question:
I know someone did that, how would you do that?

Answers:
I've read the rest of your questions and hope that things get better quickly. You are in my prayers.

Staring at the sun burns holes in the back of your eye. If you stare at approximately the same spot for days at a time (like your computer or a book) your eyes get used to what you are doing and adjust. This might cause the need for corrective lenses or surgery.

However, surgery can mess up your eyes too...I had corrective surgery done on my eyes by a leading optometrist. One eye is perfect, the other is getting more and more far sighted by the day. :-(

Diabetes can also mess your eyes up. My grandmother got it and lost most of her eyesight. Finally, she only had vision out of the periphery (sides). If you feel this is the problem, go see your doctor as soon as possible.

Years ago, I heard about parties where people would slip drugs into the intelligent kids drinks/food to fry their brains. (Also messing up their eyesight.) The less intelligent would do this to gain the advantage and win the top spots in the class. I figured out very quickly that I wasn't that interested in parties. Now, some of the intelligent kids are taking the same drugs without having anyone slip it to them...Sad how the world has changed.

I hope everything works out for you.
