How Do I Get My Sunburn To Feel Better?
Question:
I don't have epsom salt, or aloe gel. Any other home made suggestions?
Answers:
boil like 4 cups of water, take it off the heat and add 4-6 tea bags, like regular lipton works, put it in the fridge or make double strength (double the tea bags) and add ice, wet a dry washcloth and gently place on the burned area, the Tanin in the tea helps to relieve the pain and the temperature helps reduce temp. if you have any kind of OTC pain reliever, take some and sit in front of a fan while someone else does the tea thing for you, ALSO drink lots of fluids while you are healing that burn, you probably didn't know this, but your body uses alot of fluids to heal any kind of injury, whether it's a bruise or a burn (of any kind).
dont laugh or think that im crazy but yogurt actually works trust me :) its very common in turkey
cold compress...it feels gooooood

Just use cold compresses and take tylenol.
Was some aloe vero gel in the fridge and when it gets cold put it on your sunburn. And if you can have a fan to blow on your sunburn.
there are alot of gels to get find one with lidocain in it they work best , you can also try tea bags something in them like tanin i think people say that helps
regular lotion might help...putting ice on it always makes it feel better for me! you could also get a wash cloth with really cold water on it and put it on your sunburn...those are some of the things i do!
One thing that my grandmom used to use on me gandpa and on us kids when we were younger is vinegar. followed by baby lotion. the vinegar will take the sting out while the lotion will put moisture back into ur skin. If u dont have any bay lotion then any lotion or body cream without alcohol in it will be fine. Coca butter works very well also.
YOGURT, no joke, it works.
any cold compress.
but you should invest in some aloe vera. it's supreme for sunburn pain
Aspirin. It helps take the pain away and opens the capillaries to help speed blood flow. Cool compresses and a good lotion. Take an aspirin, then a cool shower and apply a cream, My Mother swears by baking soda baths. Make sure the skin stays clean and dry, apply moisturizer, but not to much. Drink lots of fluids.
