Answers:
I'm suffering from dizziness also, what I've learn ed it can be a number of things from melds, middle ear problems or it can be related to heart disease. you did say that your mom fell she could have bump her head and needs time too recover, if she continues with this problem she shod see her physician I hope it goes away...
Well she should see her doctor and explain her symptoms. Does'nt sound very nice for her, get her checked out.
hhhmmmmm, the only cause i have heard of is low blood pressure!
i went to a special doctor
I get dizzy spells quite often. It's more of a lightheaded feeling and then dizzy after but I was told that it might be because I have low blood sugar or high blood pressure. She should probably go get more tests or something done for other things.
I think it due to positional hypotension.
Put in English it's rapid changes in her blood pressure when she stands up from sitting or lying down. It is checked by a test called the tilt test.
cmnc,

This doesn't sound good. While it could be related to the bump on her head, it may not be. After all, the fall could have been because of a dizzy spell. I don't know what tests she may have had, but I suspect that she hasn't had "all" of them. There are over a hundred reasons for a facial flush, from hyperthyroidism to mitral valve disease, and the tests for these are quite different. "All" of them would be quite an extensive battery of tests. Are you sure that she's had all of them?

I would first suspect her heart. The symptoms are consistent with either mitral valve disease or what is called Adams-Stokes Syndrome. Adams-Stokes is a form of heart block. The electrical signal inside the heart is "blocked" somewhere between the atria and the ventricles, leading to a slowing of her heart and a fall in blood pressure.

Now, a fall in blood pressure normally would not cause facial flushing, but in Adams-Stokes it is quite common, because when consciousness is lost and the heart either slows or even stops, the breathing does not. When the heart restarts, this oxygenated blood causes facial flushing.

They tested her for congestive heart failure? Her legs or ankles don't swell, do they?

None of this would show up in an x-ray, of course.

Now, assuming that all her cardiology tests return negative and her heart is fine, the cause could be anywhere from dehydration to diabetes to a brain or pancreas tumor. The pancreas tumor could raise her serotonin levels too much.

As a result, I would strongly encourage you to keep at your doctors, not letting them rest until you find the cause of these dizzy spells. We're not supposed to be dizzy, so when we are, it's serious.

Good luck. Really.
check her medication(s) it could be a side effect. it could also be fluid in her ear(s) or an onset of a sinus/ear infection. or simply it could be vertigo.
