In the CPT manual , what is the name for additional information about a code enclosed in the parentheses ?

it is called a modifier
I believe it's just called parenthetical information. It can be additional information to guide you to a more appropropriate code, or it could be something like "separate procedure" for coding a minor procedure that doesn't go along with the global code.

P.S. Which certifying body are you going to test with?

Tereca is correct: it is a modifier. Just make sure you understand the difference between essential and non-essential modifiers.
