What kind of question do they ask in a healthcare interview.?
Question:
Answers:
Besides the obvious about your career choice and skills, you will need to play up good customer service and and service excellence. Many healthcare organizations are really focusing on national standards of service excellence to their customers.
They may also ask you about things like :
If someone that you worked with was stealing, what would you do?
What is the most difficult thing you have ever had to do at work or a tough decision you had to make?
Give me one example of a time you personally went "above and beyond" at work.
Be honest and sincere in your answers. Let them know you are a team player and you are willing to work with others. Do not ever badmouth people you have worked with, management, or your former job. Be neat and professional and have a crisp, clean copy of your current resume with you, as well as copies of any credentials that you have (diploma, certifications, etc.)
Good luck to you!
They may ask about your change of career, what made you want to get into healthcare? Patient privacy is a BIG issue, HIPAA compliance, etc. so they might ask you scenarios about divulging patient information. You want to demonstrate that you have good people skills, a caring attitude, and work well with others. Other questions would be similar to an interview in any other field: what would make you a good fit into our organization? Would you be able to work overtime or have a flexible schedule, etc.
