Answers:
Maybe Irritable Bowel Syndrome .
Symptoms may include constipation and/or diarrhea (often alternating) abdominal pain, mucus in the stools, nausea, flatulence, bloating and intolerances to certain foods.Pain is often triggered by eating, and may be relieved by a bowel movement.Lifestyle factors such as stress and diet are common causes.Irritable bowel syndrome is painful, but not serious, and most people who have it lead active, productive lives if they change their diets, get regular exercise, and replace needed nutrients.
Do you only experience the pain when on your period? The doctor says I have endometriosis, but they did not really find any scar tissue. I take Ultam for my pain and it help me out greatly.
I had a lower abdominal pain on the right side for two years. All the tests were negative. Finally my orthopedic surgeon solved the problem. My hip socket was worn out. Is that weird or what? But true!!
I've had eight abdominal hernias. Before the bulge popped thru and I could feel a lump, there was pain and tenderness in the area -- especially when I was physical. If I just layed around it didn't hurt. Do you find that the case? I suggest figuring out if the pain is activity related. That will be a clue.
If that is the case, slowly & gently develop your abdominal muscles. Probably under the guidance of a professional.
Have you had any previous abdominal surgeries (before the lap, I mean) because scar tissue and adhesions can cause pain.
If thats not the case, maybe try chiro and accupuncture.
Best wishes,
Regina
