Sleep???

Are there things I can do that make it so when I wake up im not so tired and grumpy??

Make sure that you get at least 8 hours of undisturbed, peaceful sleep. If you have trouble actually getting to sleep try drinking camomile tea and avoid all caffeine, read for a little while even as this maeks the eyes tired. I find I am much cheerier if I have an adequate amount of sleep.

If you are still waking up grumpy and tired all I can suggest is to have a long hot shower and a leisurely breaky to try and get it out of your system before the day starts.
Try goin to bed early
Just try and get a good night's rest like 7 or 8 hours a night.
orange juice-eat ballanced breakfast. (me personally cant stand breakfast worst meal of the day)

Just make sure you are getting enough rest. Some people require more than others to not be grumpy. Also tell yourself when going to sleep that tomorrow will be a great day.
just jump around and think of happy thoughts for 15 seconds. the first 15 sec. of ur day determines about ur whole mood for the day. hope this helps!
maybe more sleep. Do you wake up to an alarm clock? I know if I wake up to an annoying alarm clock (almost all of them) then It puts me to a grumpy start. Maybe try getting to bed earlier and waking up slower.

I need at least 8 hours of sleep to feel fine in the morning but my husband only needs 5. If he oversleeps he feels tired and grumpy. You might try finding out how many hours you really need to sleep.
before sleeping
the best way to do is drink MILK
so when you wake up you'll not be tired
you'll sleep soundly
Try Unisom they work and they wont have you grumpy
I guess sleep for a longer time, lets say an extra hour at least or maybe take a warm shower right before sleep.
I would not recommend tea or any other relaxant, u might oversleep and be late to work, hehe, it has happened to me.
My husband has this problem. I think it's because he needs to have a sleep study done because he is not getting a good nights sleep, so when he wakes up he his a BEAR!GRRRRRRR
You are not rested at night, do you have a breathing or sinus problem.check with your doctor.

First of all make sure you are getting enough sleep in the first place. Secondly, if you have people who want to talk to you or expect you to do things when you first wake up, ask them if they could leave you alone for at least 30 minutes after you wake up. Anyone is bound to be a bit grumpy if they don't even have a moment to themselves first thing in the morning. Everyone in my house knows to leave me alone for a bit to give me a chance to wake up all the way, otherwise I'm rude and cranky. Hope this helps.
eat something with high calories for dinner like cornflex but few amount
Maybe you can try:
eating a good breakfast

going to sleep earlier

get atleast 6-7 hrs of sleep

don't get hangovers

if it's not hot a walk can help
i don't care how much sleep or how little i get... but i can't get through a morning without coffee...
Have you gone to your doctor and tried sleeping pills, or see if you have a chemical imbalance. I was having the same issue and I went to see my dr. and he told me I have a chemical imbalance. He told me that there are many forms of depression and when you wake up angry like I did and still do, and if I don't take my medicine it is a chemical imbalance. He put me on Lexapro, also can be celexa it has helped me out greatly I am more even with my moods when I get up. Try to go see your dr.
well what you can do is shower at night and drink milk that would relax you and help you sleep.
