I'd just boil it depending on how big it is. Otherwise, go for it. Resin from cannabis is alcohol soluble, so just let it soak for a day or two and scrub it with a Brillo pad or something until its all gone. Looks like alot of retards posted replies for you... What is a bong is it like a gong or big bell. The alcohol might stain it.
It's probably fine but just to be safe maybe you should just get 420 solution or just use hot water (with dishwashing soap if you want) and toothbrush or some other instruments that can be used to get hard to reach places.
