A weird thing happened the other day....?

Question:
I was at work and my calves started to ache, then later my calves, knees, and lower thighs. The ache was so horrible by the time I drove home I could hardly walk and the pain was intense. My skin was extremely sensitive to touch and the pain was enough to make you cry. I could only walk slowly like an old man. I took some heavy duty pain pills and rubbed Ben Gay on my legs. Went to sleep. Next day felt like nothing ever happened. It hasn't happend again. What was that? Has anyone else ever had a simular problem? I asked a doctor about it. They thought it could have been a blood clot but it's impossible to diagnose since it's gone now. I am forty years old.

Answers:
It could be fibromyalgia. There is a lot of pain with that, it feels like the kind of deep muscle/bone ache one gets as a child when they are really sick.

You have a sensitivity on your skin as well. You would rather no one would touch you. The thing with fibro is that it does come and go. You will feel good and then some days you have that pain.
ur getting old.
hmmm...were you having cramps? maybe charlie horse? maybe try eating bananas and see if that helps...since it was both legs, i don't think it would be a blood clot...might have been a pinched nerve...glad it's gone
