I have insect bites that have lasted for more than a month! They heal for a while, then come back? What gives?

Question:
I got the insect bites while on vacation in the Philippines. Every few days, the insect bites resurface on the exact same locations that I was bitten originally. It has been like this for more than a month now. What could be the cause? Should I be worried?

Answers:
Go to the doc! I don't know what kind of bugs are in the Philippines, but in the southern US we have bugs called Chiggars. They actually get under your skin and live for a while! You can't usually see the bug (sometimes just a dot), but they look kinda like a mosquito bite and ITCH like crazy! In the meantime, you might try using something called Chiggarid. It's a cream you put on the "bite," I know you can get it at Wal-Mart and most major chain stores near the aloe & bug bite stuff in the pharmacy section. This suffocates the bug, relieving the itching and drawing the bug out.
Hope this works!
Look under your covers...you may find the bugs there...there were bed bugs in my house and they were in the mattess..get ur house cleaned by experts
Go to a dr. there could be something left in the skin, like a sting or an insect! Either that or it could be an allergic reaction. Go to the docter!
Yep, take you to doctor right now! Insects may have layed eggs under skin. Don't fool around with this. Sorry it happened.
