I chip fractured my middle toe a week ago. I have been taping it to the 2nd toe for the last week. How much longer should I keep them taped? Would it be better to let it move a bit if it doesn't hurt so it will heal back to the right shape?
Answers:
It would be wise to have it x-rayed. If the bone doesn't grow back exactly as it was prior to the fracture you will have pain for the rest of your life. Arthritis will also set in.
