Mouth bite developed huge sore lump on inner lip... help!?

Question:
A few days ago, I bit myself on the inner lip right infront on my front gums. It was a really hard bite that made me bleed just a little. The next day, I had (and continue to have) a huge lump on it that's really uncomfortable; it's actually not that painful, but it seems to be so big as compared to any other lumps i've had that it seems to interfere with my upper teeth when I close my mouth or eat. (Eating really sucks when having a lump this big!)

As far as how it looks, it seems to be about 4mm in diameter and 4 mm in height (lump). Yeah, its that big. It's actually pretty normal colored, with the exception of it being a bit vague as compared to my normal coloration on my inner lip. The tip of the large lump has a tiny white dot on it; the dot is very small as compared to the whole lump.

I really need to find a way to get rid of this. It's more of a huge annoyance than pain. I'd rather avoid the expences of a doctor for now; so I hope you guys can help me!

Answers:
If it were me, I'd pop it - at the site of the white dot - hopefully the liquid inside will come out/drain out, and after that I'd swish my mouth with heavily salted warm water.
Hi there!! I have the exact same thing and did a little searching and found that it might be a mucocele. Here is the link http://www.kadavy.net/blog/archive/2005/...
It show pictures and everything. It gave me some peace of mind until I get to see a Dr. so read it :)
