Is this a migrane?

Question:
i had my son 4 months ago.. and i've had these headaches before him, but not very often..

it happens when he doesnt sleep very well at night, so i get up a couple of times to comfort him..

I wake up with this headache and it lasts all day. It feels as if my brain is too large in the front and is pushing on my skull ( lol ).. it gets worse as the day goes by. No aspirin, or advil helps.. not even Excedrin migrane.. By about 5 pm, i feel like i will throw up and usually do. Sometimes it makes me feel better, sometimes it doesnt.. But the next day, i feel fine. If i know its coming and take naps during the day, it doesnt go away... So is this a migrane? and how do i help it

Answers:
soudns like it, i get them every 3-4 months and so far i've found nothing helps so i saw my doctor and got some prescribed drugs which will hopefully help.

quite often i think i get them because of stress, extreme tiredness and even eating excess amounts of caffine/e numbers etc.

try avoiding losing sleep, eating/drinking too much caffine and avoid stress

hope this helps

i would also advise you to see your doctor as no over the counter drugs seem to help

:)
