Urgent Feel bad?
Question:
what could it be?
Do you think I had a pretty strong coffee early in the morning could be the cause. I feel slight dumbness in my face now.
I need advice
Answers:
it sounds like a vasal vegal episode --like a faiting type sitution -you need to go to the hospital immediately -there is a condition that causes this -it is a warning sign to a possible cva-or a stroke -i would recommend you dont take anything just get to a hospital -it also could possibly be a form of angina
Have someone take you to the E.R. immediately, or call 911. You could be having a stroke or other cardiac episode. If you have an aspirin (and are not allergic). Chew one up before you go to the hospital. If you do not know if you are allergic, do NOT take the aspirin.
This could be something else, but with those symptoms you need to get checked out. Early detection/prevention of heart problems can prevent permanent damage.
At the very least call a medical professional to get an opinion of your condition. (Most areas have a free "nurse on call" or something similar.)
Do not wait too long to get an opinion. If this is a serious matter, time is of the essence.
need sugar or salt?
Call your doctor right now, tell her what happend. Could be variety of things from low blood sugar to heart problems. CALL NOW. Don't Wait.
What is it with everybody? You don''t just rush off to the doctor for every little thing. If everyone did that, the hospitals would be crammed more than they already are.
Don't go to the doctor! Yet.
It could have been a little anxiety built up from the coffee and the visual effect from the height of the balcony.
Try a cool shower and then sit and try to relax.
IF - you are having the same symptoms or if the symptoms continue later today, THEN you should probably give your doctor a call.
It could be a lot of things. It might be something really little, or it could be something a lot more serious such as a stroke as someone else pointed out. With the weakness, difficulty breathing, and numbness in your face, I think it's better to be safe than sorry and that you should seek treatment now.
If it turns out to be nothing, then you haven't really lost out on anything and you will have the peace of mind of knowing you're ok. However if it turns out to be something serious and you don't go, then well the story may not have a happy ending.
So err on the side of caution, and if you haven't done so already get help, or at the very least call your doctor and ask their professional opinion.
you need to see a doctor.
Go to the nearest emergency room, your symptoms sound serious.
