HELP HELP HELP! Navel Piercing got infected so i took the jewelry out!?
Question:
Its been out for about 25-30mins now!
Should i put it back in? And what should i do to keep it clean?
HEEEELLLLLLPPPP PLEASE
Answers:
dont touch it, used anti-septic on a q-tip and clean it. dont put the piercing back in immediately. after it looks a bit better
There are some places that were not meant to be pierced. The belly button is one of them.
I had mine done twice and both times, infected; I went back to the piercer and he took it out, put bactine on it and wash it with a good antibacterial soap. I know it hurts like hell but just leave it alone. The hole will close within a few hours and it will feel better in a day or two.
no do not put it back! is it pussing or scarred? u should have been cleaning it with dial soap to avoid the infection. tea tree oil also helps. i think u should go back to who pierced you and get their assistance. dont risk a further infection.
MIne stayed infected for a couple of months. now it never gets infected. I wouldnt take it out if I were you. I never did I just kept cleaning it with alcohol even though they told me not to. It works better than anything.
Never take the piercing out for longer than a couple minutes to clean it. Clean both piercing and your navel with hydrogen peroxide 1-2 times a day. Put antibiotic cream on your navel.
The hole will close up fast if you take it out longer than 1/2 hour. So yes, put it back in.
Yes you did the right thing removing the Piercing, And no don`t put it back in , You may be allergic to the metal used in the Navel Piercing or the infection won`t heal and the infection will get worse
if it is infected then apply a antiseptic ointment and cover with bandage etc then see your doctor
People have had to have parts of the stomach or skin removed due to Piercing infections
To keep Piercings clean you usually use a medical alcohol supplied by the salon that did the Piercing
navel percing is ok, but if its infected, absolutely not. your right in takig it out, because any foreign object can induce more inflammation, either because the procedure was not sterile, or you were allergic to it. consult your doctor, ou might need topical antibiotic for it. God bless. ;)
leave it out. and still clean it
