I just had L5/S1 disc replaced in my back, has anyone had it done?? how long before i can bend?

my doctor told my not to do anything for 2 months. he went through my stomach, my stomach and back still hurt. i don't know what to do anymore.

this was major surgery and you're going to have to give yourself time to let your body heal. Your doctor was absolutely right about not doing anything for two months, it's going to be more like four months. Realize this is for your own good.

You have to take it easy. You can occupy yourself with computer games, reading and even answering questions right here on yahoo. It will take your mind off of your problems.
