Has anyone found a way to quit smoking...that works?

Question:
pleaaase...anything?

Answers:
HONESTLY, I decided one day that I would quit for the better of my health, and my family, and convinced myself that cigarettes were disgusting, vile, smell horrible, and threw them away. I thought I would go insane. I did everything I could to keep myself busy, asked my husband to be patient with me, because I sure was grouchy. I didn't let myself cheat even once. I kept strong and told myself I could do it. It was one of the hardest things I've done (cold turkey), but I stuck to my guns. Now cigarettes make me nauseated and I feel so much better. You have to believe in yourself, it really is mind over matter. Don't let yourself slip. Discipline. Good luck.
I have tried everything from gum, to the patch, to the staple in the ear and many more. i am 35 years old and have been smoking since i was 13, and i am still smoking, i have had many friends and family quit many different ways but the one that seems to work the best, but is also the hardest way, is to do it cold turkey, i know, it sucks huh?... that's why i haven't quit yet either. good luck!
no one thing works for everyone
some people find they can go cold turkey
the patches help while your on them but every time you stop taking them it seems you start smoking again
i haven't tried the commit lozenges
the gum tastes horrible and is the most complicated gum to chew ever
there is a new prescription drug called chanexx that blocks the receptors in your brain from reacting with the nicotine and i have heard really good things about it
try any of the options and if at first you don't succeed try again
if you can make it the first 3 month your chances of going back are very slim but you will still have cravings every once in a while
good luck
chantix is the new drug of choice i hear greatr thing about it to but i've been on it for 1 week and 5 days and it works. i can only smoke like a half cigg and then it tastes nasty but becareful when you take the pill that you drink a ton of water and i mean a ton if you don't you will toss your cookies. i've don it twice and its not bad compared to a drunk tossing or a sick one but it still sucks. no cigs for me yet today.
cold turkey. just dont buy them. be strong. it works.
I never smoked, but many of the guys I work with did, and do. One used some program the mormon missionaries had and it worked.

In general, I have noticed that the more complicated the process, the less chances that it will work. The guys who just decided one day that it was over had better luck than those who spend weeks (or months) doing the patch or cutting down or whatever.

You just have to stop. Don't pretend to stop, meaning you stop for a few days then start then stop then start. Just decide it is over and stop.

The next few weeks will be HELL, and the next few weeks will be hell, and the next few months will be difficult, then the next few months will be better, then one day you will realize that you didn't even think about smoking at all for the past few days.
yep DON'T START it's that easy
I was a smoker for 25 years and I had quit smoking for over six times ,but never really quit smoking before.Just after I read that quit smoking program, I realized how easy quitting smoking was.I am a non-smoker now! I highly recommend this program to you.It really works. You can check out http://quit-smoking-in-3-hours.info...
Good luck!
