I cannot sleep?

i heard that an average human sleeps in about 16 minutes it takes me a 30minutes to about an hour. some times it takes about 2-3 hours.. but i dont wake up or anything when i sleep. what problem is this and how can i sleep faster?

Answers:
It is called stress. Most people get into bed, and don't relax, they just think of all of the things that they have dealt with for that day, and things they should have done, and what are they going to do tomorrow, and then there is that report due at work, and I have to do the laundry...I think you get the picture. I would start a relax routine. Maybe a bath, or a nice cup of decaffinated tea. Something to relax you before you go to bed. If you still have problems, look into possibly taking tylenol PM. I use it when I am having a hard time sleeping. Pretty much, it is just helping you relax enough to fall asleep, it is not an actual sleeping pill, where you won't be able to wake up. Hope you get some sleep!
take a warm bath strecht your body out fully like arms to the celing then drink warm milk
Take some sleeping pills.
take sleeping pills or make yourself comfortable
