expect the swelling to come and go for a long time. You will see more swelling when you start using the leg again. Ice after exercise and keep it elevated when resting. A break even after if is healed that's months and possible years for the swelling to stop and with experience can have swelling for the rest of your life. Sorry.
Yeah, call your doctor.
See a doctor. This could be an indication of a blood clot.
remember that our legs and feet carry all our body weight so, the swelling will not subside that fast. what you can do is to raise your legs when you are sitting down. get another chair and place it in front of you and rest your legs there to lessen if not prevent the swelling. it will help a lot.
it swells because it is not fully healed...the more pressure you still put on it, the more stress there is. You need to just rest as much as possible and try to do as much as you can when it comes to your physical therapy.
