A hot bath in epsom salts used to help me after bike races. You can never go wrong with a good massage too.
Take some magnesium tablets, these will relax the muscles, available in the health food store, and are just a mineral so totally safe.
I WOULD JUST TAKE SOME IBUPROFEN OR MOTRIN.
I take bath in Epsopm salts, and lots of stretching. Also - Tylenol will reduce the imflamation of the muscles. Drink plenty of water to hydrate.
Soaking your feet in a tub with epsom salts help. Helped me after being on my legs all day at a Carnival to come out the next day and do the same.
Heat like in a hot tub/bath/heating pad. Massage. Get some potassium through fruit like banana for cramping. Drink lots of water. Make sure you stretch. Maybe some Aleve or pain reliever. And rest. Good Luck. Break a Leg!
