If you arent stung when you are a child, then you could easily be very allergic to a bee sting, so much so that it could kill you. Its worth looking into.
I've been stung probably more than a hundred times. You lucky not have been stung at all. When you do, your first sting will probably make you cry. I'm practically immune to it, seeing i've been stung so many times

I got stung by a bee on my big toe and it swelled up and hurt so bad. I was 22 years old and cried like a baby. I don't think there is ever a right time for that.

But yeah. When I was five years old I was stung by a whole nest full of yellow jackets. I remember swallowing a few of the bees. Oddly, they never stung me in my mouth. They pulled over a hundred stingers out of me at the hospital. That's something that you don't forget.

Bee stings aren't the most painful. Being a tree service worker in Florida I can assure you I've been stung/bit by them all. Bee's would have to be the least painful, hornet's and wasp's quite a bit worse, but in my opinion the yellow jacket is the most excruciating. An insect even more painful than that is the bull ant. When you get bit by one of those, you feel pain for days not minutes or hours. (Why would you want to be stung by a bee anyways?)
