Car insurance claim?
Question:

Oh my goodness, the exact same thing happened to me.
GO TO A SOLICITOR STRAIGHT AWAY.
I'm going through the exact same pain & problems you are until i got a solicitor (a good one) involved.
If you need treatment from an osteopath (as i do) a hire car, fuel to get to & from the osteopaths, xrays, MRI scans whatever, you will not have to pay.
My solicitor told me that if it wasn't for this accident i wouldn't be in this state.
I had to buy a memory foam bed & a special chair because i'm in so much agony & am having injections in my back soon too which are all being paid for by the at fault drivers insurance company.
I had broken ribs too, which if i were you i'd get a second opinion.
If i fail this year at uni then that's another claim i can put in.
The insurance company put aside a minimum of £8k per person that is involved in an RTA & that's just compensation.
If you need any other info, please just let me know, i would be really glad to help. I know so much about all this now.
You've got a really strong case oh & keep a diary about what pain you're in & what's going on, trust me you'll need it.
Back and neck pain is very common in a car accident, especially when you are struck unexpectedly. The pins and needles feeling if still exists could be possible nerve damage, meaning maybe you could have a misalignment somewhere in your vertebrae. I would not worry too much about the insurance company. It is their job to assume that all claims are fraudulent until proven otherwise because of the amount of fraud claims submitted. They assume we are all liars. Once you have medical records supporting your claim they settle out of court where the other driver is clearly at fault from hitting you from behind.
