What do you think about Knee replacement?
Question:
Answers:
My husband needs his doing but at 37 he is about 30 years too young for it as they only last around 10 years and you can only have upto 3 in a lifetime I think. His father on the other hand is 62 and has had one and has been successful
Well .... painful i suppose, never had it done though sorry!
If necessary go for it, it will make a difference, my wife`s father had both knees done a few years ago.
My friend had it done a month ago. She is still on painkillers and gets around in a wheelchair. She can't go up stairs and she also can't do any exercise. Before she had it done, she always blacked out and went into la la land (In her own childish world). You see, I'm really sporty and out-going so if I was her, I'd probably need to get another knee replacement done because I keep on doing exercise. Plus I have Exercise Induced Asthma and I still manage to kill myself. So I suggest you steer clear of trying to get a knee replacement done. Basically, if you don't want to have a lot of pain and have hardly any freedom, then I suggest you don't want it done.
It depends on your situation. You can always opt for one if you really need it.
Well if you need it done then you need it done.
I can't see why they would need replacing. My Grandad had a knee and hip replacement when he was in his 70s. He is now 95 and has had no problems with them.
