Ok, your question is very confusing...do you just need an example of patient education or what? I trained and have a license as a certified Nurse Assistant and one of the areas I enjoyed the most was learning about doing exercises for those with stiff joints(esp. those patients/residents unable to move their digits by themselves). The one that I taught at an assisted living residence was showing the elderly how to move each finger, by seperating or spacing the finger apart from the others on one hand and repeating the process on the other hand. Another easy (most enjoy that this is something they can do themselves & in private) exercise is to scrunch up your hand into a balled fist and then release. Of course, each person does only what is comfortable for them. But any exercise is good and it is better than nothing. Did this help you ?
