Can I overdose ibuprofen 1200 mg?

Question:
I get really bad cramps and usaully take 4 200mg of of ibuprofen. Well, I woke up in the middle of teh night and accidentally took 6 equalling 1200 mg! I took them about 45 minutes ago and feel a little dzzy. I tried trowing up, but couldn't. will i be ok?

Answers:
It will wear off. You are not to go over 2400mg in a 24 hour period of time. So do not take more than 1200mgs in the next 23 hours (assuming its been about an hour since you took the 1200mgs).
yea you'll b fine...my friend did the same for a while...it doesn't kill u just mkes the pain worse i think...ur body is jus rejecting it
Think you should live, dont do it again stick to prescription dosage recommendation by Dr. If you get cramps try cramp eeze, or take in extra salt in diet. Wish you good health and if ill go to Dr...
You'll be alright. Not to bright though. If you in that much pain why not go to emergency? they have some stuff that'll settle the pain. At least call your doctor and they may order something of a right dose of meds for you.
over dose may cause effect to any parts of your body
Have you tried a Yahoo search for ibuprofen + overdose (OR toxic)?
