Internal bleeding on finger?

I was playing hockey a few days ago in school and my friend accidentally hit my thumb with his hockey stick while trying to hit the ball. It really hurt for quite awhile and the top of my thumb became sorta purplish black. It hurt whenever I applied pressure on it for a couple of days. It doesn't hurt now but the purplish black colour is still there. I was wondering if it's internal bleeding and will it go away on it's own or do I need to consult a doctor?

My husband get a greatly unpromising spinal column spasm and presently his leg hurts. what could facilitate a siatic audacity pinch?

Answers:
It will go away eventually. It's just a dried blood clot. You will notice people who work in construction have these from banging thumbs and fingers periodically with hammers. It is no danger.

Is in attendance a mode you can confer yourself a black eye minus getting hit?

it sounds like you just have a bad bruise. it will take a while for it to go away. don't worry. you'll know its getting better when it starts to change colors.

what i mean is right now it purplish black, but as it fades it may get dark brown, then light brown, and even a little green or yellow tinted.

you said it doesn't hurt any more, and if you can move it alright, i think your going to be just fine.
