Sharp pain in kidney reagon?

i dont know what it could be! but it hurts!
any ideas?

Does it come and go or lessen and worsen? That sounds like a kidney stone SEE A DOCTOR! If it's a dull ache and it gets worse and worse, most likely a kidney infection, again SEE A DOCTOR! I've had both, and now any time I have any type of lower back pain, I get paranoid. I hope you feel better!

Kidney pain is usually felt in the middle of the back , a little under the level of your breast , but on the back . Pain near your buttocks is most likely musculoskeletal .
Well it could be anything from a kidney stone, kidney infection, or a pulled muscle.
If it is kidney stones plenty of water will help for the pain.
An alkaline diet will help to very gradually dissolve kidney stones (if they were caused by too much acidity which is one of the most common causes) but this takes a long time.
