Can an ent doctor shave down a bump on your nose?

Question: while performing septoplasty or surgery for sinusitis, can the doctor quickly go in and take out the extra bone if there's a bump on your nose? if you got the bump from having your nose broken so many times and if the doctor is able and you tell him it really affects your life? and there's pain sometimes?
