Question:

Answers:
you have an ankle sprain, could be mild to severe depending on how hard you fell and how much weight you put on it before you fell.

remember this R.I.C.E

Rest
Ice
Compression
Elevation

keep off your feet, put an ice pack on it, wrap it in a n ace bandage, and keep it elevated above the level of your heart

if it gets severely swollen you might have it looked at to ensure that you havent done any real damage to ligaments or tendons, otherwise just remember R.I.C.E. and stay off your feet and you should be ok in a couple days
thats the easiest way to sprain your ankle. I would have it looked at if it is swollen and still hurts after a day.
It sounds like you could have sprained it. If your foot falls asleep, don't put pressure on it until you start getting feeling/circulation back. Try elevating and icing your foot for a bit. If it starts bruising or if the pain/swelling persists, visit your doctor. Good luck.
you might have sprained it when you put pressure on your numb foot. see if it is swollen. put some ice on it and stay off the foot for a while.
Been there done that and I am glad I am not the only person who has...thanks for sharing. You made me feel better, now lets try to do the same for you. Unfortunately you probably severely sprained it. I can actually hurt more than if you broke it. You need to go to the Dr. They will x-ray it just to make sure you didn't bust it, wrap it up in ace wraps, give you some crutches, and tell you to stay off of it for a week or so. Probably give you some anti-inflammatory/pain meds. One it heels your Dr may send you for some physical therapy to strengthening your ankles after everything is heeled up.
