Back Problems?

Question:
I found out I have a disc problem (degenerative disc disease) in my back My doctor at the pain clinic said there is nothing they can do for me.no injection will help. He explained there is no known treatment at this time but he would call if they hear of something. I used to run almost everyday and now that is impossible...too painful...I want my life back!!

Take a look at this site:

They provide a non-surgical option thay may help you. I know this one is in Denver but they may have one where you live.

Good luck and good health
You should try chiropractic and massage for a couple of visits and see if that helps you. I would not go more thatn 4 to 6 visits. Usually after that amount you will know if it helps. I would be catious if the chiro tries to schedule you for more than that. Good luck
Have you tried hot showers? Or tried 10-15 minutes of heat then ice. I would try to find a neurologist that could give me some exercises to do to help with my back. With degenerative disc disease there is not much they can do, but exercises seem to help people.

Take Care, and Good Luck
