Question:
Answers:
Rotator cuff tendinitis (see Exercise and Sports Injury: Rotator Cuff Injury) is the most common cause of shoulder pain. Active abduction in an arc of 40 to 120 and internal rotation produce pain. Passive abduction produces less pain. Ca deposits in the tendon are sometimes visible on x‑ray.
In bicipital tendinitis, pain in the biceps tendon is aggravated by shoulder flexion or resisted supination of the forearm. Tenderness can be elicited proximally over the bicipital groove of the humerus by “flipping” (rolling) the bicipital tendon (under the examiner's thumb).

See the sources below for medical information...also, I suggest that you schedule an appointment with your physician so that impeded circulation or musculoskeletal disorders may be ruled out. It could be serious and should be treated.
You have a pinched nerve in your neck. Are your little finger and ring finger worse than the other two? If so it's certain that its a nerve.
If you have insurance, go to the MD and get a referral to the Chiro. Get some muscle realxers if you can.
The CHiro will help but you will have to return a few times.
Sounds like a blood circulation problem. It may be serious. Go see your doc. meanwhile keep active to help with the blood circulation, but not too active as you don't want to have a heart attack. Also, I suggest you take a baby aspirin everyday. It could be that you have bad arteries. definitely see a doctor.
I have had the same problem for years now, and it was caused by impinged or inflamed nerves in my neck. I have found a good solid mattress to be helpful, and I take painkillers when it gets real bad. You should definitely see your doctor about it before you do anything else though.
Go see your regular doctor soon. You don't mention your age but if the ache is on your left side it could be heart problems, maybe even a heart attack.
