Answers:
I have to answer this...
Well it seems that those doctors are messing again also with the treatment.
I take: 3 x Brufen Forte 600 mg, 3 x Myolastane, 3-4 Dafalgan Codeïne , 1 x Zantac(for the stomac), 1 x Biosprolol (for the heart).
I did all what is necessary , they did infiltrations (didn't help!), back school and physiotherapist didn't help!, they can't operation because it's to big risk(that say my own doctors!),stupid government doctors here in Belgium try to force me in a expensive operation and I have to pay! , neuro stimulator and back for those stupid infiltrations that didn't help. For the moment they put me without any payment for disability because I so called don't co-operated in their filthy crime! My health case go's in court after almost 3 years now in September and I thinking to go to the media with this scandal!

Well, dbgyog you must be desperate for clients that you see question/answers as a client portal, that's not allowed on questions/answers!
Needle treatment don't help to cure a spine! That's it!
Try aspirin. Try ironing something and put on his back. Iron real hot as much as he can take it.
Is he in shape? The stronger your ab muscles are the better the back will be. If you have no ab mucles then your pelvis starts to tilt and cause severe pain.

i think i would try surgery for the disks. maybe that is causing more of the pain than the arthritis. hard to tell.
I think it is time for your husband to see a specialist sounds like those disks of his are in need of some surgical intervention.
My husband suffers from chronic pain and they have prescribed oxynorm slow release for his ailment.
before he tries any of this medication he definately needs to see a specialist.
It's time to start looking outside the box, because medically, his level of pain is unexplainable.
Yet, I would like to know why he doesn't think physical therapy won't work?
But, even if PT doesn't work, it seems that there is something missing in his pain control problem. Most of these medications work by decreasing processes that are already at work in his body...Gabopentin seeks to decrease excitation of the nervous system, vicoden seeks to decrease the responsiveness of the pain threshold and relafen seeks to decrease an anti-inflammatory process.
Perhaps his pain control response is altered in the reverse...perhaps he lacks the level of neurotransmitters that make us feel good. So rather than trying to decrease the pain response system, he may need to increase the "normal threshold" we have. This balance can become altered in many individuals...especially if they have a history of anxiety disorder, depression, or other mood disorder. This is not to imply that the pain is all in his head...it certainly is not...rather, his pain response system may be triggered at a lower threshold than someone who has a normal balance. This is why many anti-depressants are now being used in chronic pain programs...and he certainly may be a candidate.
That is why a comprehensive approach is best...here is an example of a comprehensive interdisciplinary pain program...notice that psychology is a big part of that program. http://www.ric.org/conditions/pain/chron...
best wishes
It may be an underlying problem with the discs. I had severe backpain a few years ago where nothing would help. Not even Oxycodone, morphine, valium, vicoden, percocet, oxycontin, T4 or anything else for that matter! I was on every type of pain killer possible from the convential 800mg Ibuprofin to the strong narcotics! I even tried alternative measures, such as injections, physical therapy, massage, heat packs, ice, TENS, accupuncture, and nothing worked. In 2005 I ended up having to have an 8 leval spinal fusion with 2 rods and 16 screws done to alleviate the pain after all convential and non conventional methods failed. Your husband may need to see a spine specialist if he hasn't already to see if that would be an option. I do hope his back pain gets better. I know how life is when it's like that.

Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
