How long does it take for a sprained ankle to heal?
Question:
Answers:
More han a week. It depends upon how strained it is, if its is really strained, or if it is a chiped, or fractured bone.
Taking anti-inflamitories, rest, lots of water, and not bearing weight will go a long ways toward it healing. If you are a "regular" person, you have to go to work, take care of the kids, take care of toileting issues, prepare a meal, etc. This will drag out the healing process longer than you want it to be.
Skateboarding indicates that you are either young, and therefore will heal quite quickly, or older, and rather idiotic, and will take much longer to heal.
Also, the amount of pain that a person can tolerate, without whining, and moaning to their girlfriend is very predictive of how quicly you will "heal" or realize that most everybody in the world does't care one way or the other if you "heal" or not. Just quit complaining!

a sprained ankle will heal in 6 weeks if properly strapped and treated. Everytime you sprain your ankle, you make it stronger thou...so look on the bright side. don't hurt it again while its healing..this can lead to problems that can only be rectified by surgery
