Is it ok / normal to have burning / stinging pains in my head after chiari surgery?

Question:
i had surgery on tuesday. the pain is the left top part of my head; the scalp there is still numb though. please help.

Answers:
Yes, this is normal. Don't feel that you are going through something unusual. You're going to be numb for a while and eventually the feeling will come back. I advise you to call your medical doctor to find out what can be done to help you get over this.
