Question:
Answers:
All the stitches they put in now dissolve, but that doesn't mean you might not get one that doesn't...you need a pair of Sharpe small scissors, and and a pair of tweezers.
hold the stitch with the tweezers, cut it in the middle and pull the stich out...
Good luck.
Dont remove them unless told by your doctor
If they are dissolving stitches you don't want to remove them. Dissolving stitches are used because they begin to dissolve when the wound is healed enough. Unless your doctor tells you remove them (which I doubt) leave them. If you do want to know why all but 2 of your stitches have dissolved then call and ask your doctor, I'm sure he/she will be able to answer your question.
Hope this helps. :-)
go see your doctor, or let them dissolve
let them dissolve on there own u do not want to remove them u can cause infection or also if u remove them ur self and too soon you take the chance of having to get stiches all over again because u shouldnt have removed them in the first place.
Why are you asking us? Talk to your Doctor...jeezzz!
Because they are dissolving stitches, you shouldn't remove it. You should wait for a while until they fall off by themselves. I have had dissolving stitches before, and my doctor told me to wait a few weeks, otherwise if you remove by youself, you might get an infection. Give it a couple of weeks, if they still don't come off, then talk to your doctor about it, and what to do.
Let them desolve on their own. If they are still there, I think it needs to stay there.
I had stitches that were supposed to dissolve in my arm. Most of them did but the ones that didn't (they were internal) worked themselves out through the scar. My doctor ended up having to dig out the remnants. Gross.
Give your MD a buzz and ask them what they think.
