Best Pain Medication?
Question:
There are a lot of medications out there for muscle pain, wrist pain, etc, but I want to know, in your experience, what is the best pain medication out there for muscle soreness and small joint pain caused by an intense amount of exercise?
Answers:
The absolut best combination I have found is 400mg of ibuprofen and 500mg of tylenol. It works as well as prescription muscle relaxers for easing the pain.
Advil is good.
Take Ibuprophin. It will eliminate the pain, plus take away the inflamation as well too
I have found for basic muscle aches Alleve works the best or perhaps Tylenol. You don't want to take a muscle relaxer or anything too strong because you won't be able to participate in the rest of the camp.
Hope you feel better!
you should go for an antianflamitory. For example IB Profen (motrin) would be one Naproxen (Aleve) would be another. they help with the swelling and soreness of the muscles.
My personal choice would be Aleve. It's really good for muscle pain and joint pain.

Rub the affected areas well in a tub of hot water; then resolve to eat right, get the calcium you need and quite relying on drugs! You might try praying to Jesus.
Aleve
1 Advil and 1 Tylenol always does the trick
try saoking in a tub with epsom salts after your workouts and take ibuprofen (aka motrin/advil) before, during and after. a grown adult can take up to 600-800mg 4 times a day...but it goes by your weight so follow directions on the box.say you were 100lb...then you should only take 2 at a time.
This is going to sound silly.
Several years ago I read in a healing quarterly about a man who was a healer and a writer. When an elderly friend of his asked what she could do about a painful hip, he replied " Kiss your hand, place it on your hip and say "I love my hip"". I laughed when I first read it, but it has worked for me, 90% of the time (does not work for me on headaches). I have told many others of this and it has worked for them as well (at least the ones I talked to later).
It does not hurt to try. Cheaper than asprin. Let me know if it works for you.
Aleve or motrin for the inflamation and Absorbine Jr to rub on your muscles on the outside. Make sure to stretch and warm-up each day before jumping into the game. Also, warm baths do help. It will get better!
Ibuprofen or acetamenophen are great otc choices but the best things for muscle soreness is cyclobenzaprine (flexeril). It will relax your muscles so they won't be so stiff. The downside is it causes drowsiness and slows your reaction time but may work if you take it at night before you went to bed that way you would be ready to go in the morning. Speak with your physician.
Advil is good .. I work for the CO. =)
